Little adventures

This is the view from our lawyer's office in downtown Kampala:

Lunch at the "fancy" Kampala mall.  I think it's a nice view for a food court, don't you?

At the Sharaton gardens -- someone found the playground.  Now I know to appreciate this, because most of the time when you find a playgrounnd, someone emerges from the shrubbery to charge you a fee to play on it.

Emerson in the actual garden part.

Do you recognize these plants?  They appear to be the annual border along the main path.
Trees and perennials.
At the craft market..
Our firsst day's beautiful fiinds from the craft market.  The doll is Blueberry, Emerson's special baby from Waldorf School.  He wanted to find a basket for her, and we found one that fit perfectly.

Emerson slipped off a stool, which landed on his toes.  Sad little boy!

DDAy at the pooll at the fancy resort!
