So part of our heart was walking around very far away.... across the entire world, in fact. This is the story of our family's adoption journey: the steps we are taking, how we wound up living in Uganda, how we are becoming a family. A year later, I am still writing about how we are becoming a family, and the deeper issues inherent in adoption.
